[IRCA] TP 29 Oct, Victoria version

Definitely an improvement today, right from 1300UT onwards. Even slight residual audio from 972 and 1566 at 1600UT, but, slight.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB man in JJ 1440UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1447UT
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1434UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man and woman in JJ 1426UT
639 CNR1 man in CC 1427UT, //6030 but offset
828 JOBB CC lesson 1341UT
945 CNR1 man in CC //6030 on N. Flag 1437UT
963 CRI woman in RR //1323 which was weaker 1425UT
1017 CRI man and woman in KK 1429UT
1287 JOHR man in JJ 1437UT
1323 CRI woman in RR 1430UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 woman in JJ //594 1348UT
657 N. Korea. Woman talking, N. Korean pips 1400UT into orchestral / choral mx, peaking at 1401UT
819 N. Korea likely, female operatic singing quite clear in 820 splash 1409UT
604 HLSA? laid back vocal mx 1439UT
1053 KK jammer 1345UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

648 unID man and woman talking, too much splatter and murk to make much out 1437UT
666 JOBK pips at 1400UT, man talking //594
738 Tahiti? woman talking FF inflection 1343UT
891 JOHK woman and man talking //594 1432UT
1035 unID man talking in murk 1414UT, not //639
1377 unID rock mx, not //639 or 774

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

558 621 711 756 837 864 936 1026 1098 1161 1251 1476

best wishes,

Nick
