Short on time today, so just a quick report, but I can say that
things rebounded here nicely, like others reported.
Audio from Japan on 567, 594, 639, 693, 747, 828, 873, and 1188; S.Korea
on 972 and 1566; North Korea on 819; China on 945 and 1206; and 1575 VOA
Thailand was doing well.
Most signals seemed to peak rather early, about 1330, a half hour
before local sunrise. VOA was the exception, as it was peaking at
sunrise, by which time the Chinese had totally vanished. Japanese
reception was a bit unusual in that the 2nd tier stations that gnerally
appear when conditions improved (1287, 1422 especially) didn't do so
today. On the other hand, 828 had a huge signal (best JA of the day)
and 873 was also doing very well. 1575 had 2 carriers, a pretty good
VOA on 1575.0, and another reasonable carrier about 60 Hz low.
Certainlly a more interesting morning than the last couple.
