And Joplin on 1560 is still silent.  I logged KTUI a few weeks ago at roughly the same time of day that you did.  The station has an extremely local flavor, and the announcer at the time gave current temps for nearly every location in Missouri that has a reporting weather station (or, at least, it sure seemed like it).  He must've gone on for at least 5 minutes.  Might be something that other DXers can try for if they're up at that hour.

Around same time, Mexican music on 710, not what Mexico City airs, so the channel bears watching. Also Mexicans on 990, 1060 (Educacion), 1140 - all likely relogs, kept moving to other channels; KCTA suspected on 1030 with Spanish religion (it's somewhat of a pest, actually); Mankato MN 1420 KTOW strong; Ashland WI 1400. All relogs. Same with Wyoming 1630...
