Re: [IRCA] 890 Spanish (Mexican) Station

Rick,

Thanks to the information on KYWN being Spanish now. Congratulations on your KVOZ reception. Now hopefully I can get a ID out of NPR on 890. Bruce got one this morning at 1359 utc.

Best regards,

KYWN is indeed Spanish now.  Was able to find a few audio clips on radiodiscussion.com that pointed solidly to KYWN.  I was also getting SS on 890 last night, but with clear "Radio Cristiana" IDs, which is KVOZ in Laredo, Texas, running day power way after local sundown.

Good morning,
This morning while trying to get a ID from the NPR station on 890 a Spanish station was heard over/under the NPR station and CJDC. At 1500 utc  (8:00 AM PDT) the Spanish station mentioned Idaho. Wondering if KYWN is Spanish or is the Olivehurst, CA station with a construction permit KDDP 890 on the air. Their owner Lotus Communications has 5 stations in CA and 4 of them are Spanish. Any ideas?

Best regards,
Dennis,
