[IRCA] TP's for Friday, October 04, 2013

Listened from 1255-1422 utc. Nothing on long wave this morning. Asian stations were poor until the 1400 hour when a couple of Chinese stations popped in and a unknown station on 1107. I need to hook up a recorder to help ID some of these unknown stations that I have been hearing. Have a nice weekend.

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1319 poor signal with bits of audio between splatter crashes. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


693    JAPAN,  Tokyo, JOBB NHK2 1347 weak signal with Chinese lessons? Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1353 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK2 1351 very weak signal. // JOBB 693. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


1107  UNKNOWN, 1401-1407 end and out signal mostly weak with man in unknown language. He took a phone call from man. Best no NW ewe, but does not sound like Asian language. Philippines? NW ewe. 10/04/2013 

1377   CHINA, 1417-1418 weak signal with music. NW ewe. 10/04/2013

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1413 good signal with woman/man in Japanese. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1316 poor signal with some audio getting through. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1410 fair signal with woman in Asian language. NW ewe. 10/04/2013


1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1411 weak signal with man in Chinese. KOHI splatter. NW ewe. 10/04/2013
