If anything, it was a poorer morning for me. Had to work hard even
to find a decent signal on the NHK2 big guns, yet, there was audio
heard on 1206 also. It was almost like the skip was coming from
further afield, and the rocky spine of Vancouver Island was sucking
up the bulk of it before it got to my antenna. Certainly no real
sunrise enhancement.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
nothing really made it
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man talking 1255UT
774 JOUB EE lessons 1354UT,
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
747 JOIB EE lessons 1255UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
738 woman talking 1345UT, couldn't tell language, best on W. Flag so
likely Tahiti?
828 JOBB man in EE lessons 1342UT
972 HLCA? woman singing 1304UT, oriental sound to it
1053 KK jammer 1307, 1317UT
1206 man talking 1257, 1311UT KK? If so, Yanbian
1575 man talking, then woman 1343UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
603 648 864 891 1017 1566
best wishes,
Nick
