Quite a number of audios this morning, almost all DU I think, but a
lot were very weak, and heard due to extreme minimalist DXing, just
to let the DXpeditioners know what they're missing (or not) at
home. Instead they're more likely to be saying "he's trying so hard
and we're just basking in the DX.."
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
738 Tahiti...slow jazzy accordian mx 1225UT, then FF female vocal
rock mx at 1234UT, so.actually no talk at these times, though FF
heard earlier at various times.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 likely 4QR at 1222UT, man then woman in DU EE
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 likely 3LO? woman, then man in DU EE at 1229UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
702 traces of light vocal mx 1150UT
774 JOUB very weak NHK pips at 1200UT
819 woman talking, too weak to ID language 1204UT
828 3GI? 6 very weak pips at 1200UT followed by ABC fanfare
855 instrumental mx 1227UT
891 man talking, DU EE inflection, 1203&T
1116 man then woman in DU EE inflected talk
1548 man talking DU EE inflection 1227UT, very brief fade up
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
765 846 909 1008 1035 1242 1269 1287 1314 1332 1503
best wishes,
Nick
