Carriers were for the most part sparse and weak this morning, so a
bit of a surprise to get decent audio from Tahiti.
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 Tahiti, man and woman in brisk FF (nx?) at 1103UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
1116 man talking, too weak in splash for language ID, at 1116UT,
believe it or not
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
846 891
best wishes,
Nick
