My first thought was another dull morning, but extreme minimalist
DXing showed some things of interest, using the DXFishbarrel, and
Spectravue's synchronous detector...
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
asking a bit much today
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 Tahiti reaching this level for a couple of minutes around 1205UT,
man in FF and into pop mx. Would have been quite readable without the splash
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
828 man in DU EE 1152UT. No idea as this seemed a NZ/islands
morning, and the talk seemed subdued for TAB TV, and really, 2 kw
didn't seem too likely at this strength, but hey, this is MW DXing,
anything can happen
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
819 man and woman talking, DU EE inflection 1204UT
909 woman and man talking, DU EE inflection 1202UT
1008 woman talking and into mx, 1157UT
1584 brief bit of mx with a strong bass line 1215UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
567 675 756 765 837 882 963 1026 1107 1503
best wishes,
Nick
