[IRCA] TP 25 Jun; Victoria version

The ionospheric fog lifted a bit this morning, with a good sunrise enhancement from Tahiti-738, and some readable audio on 1116 for a short while just pre-sunrise. In addition, possibly a hint of Japanese audio on 747, and a carrier on 1287 at the "right time" for Japan, just before 1130UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

asking a bit much, but Tahiti came close

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti reaching this level for a couple of minutes around 1207UT, vocal music accompanied by organ, followed by man in FF. Had delivered a fair bit of audio at lower levels 1130 to 1200UT, man talking rather excitedly in FF

1116 4BC, man in DU EE 1152 -1158UT faded down as hour approached, but heard 6 equal pips and a 4BC ID by man...barely.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

738 and 1116 passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

747 woman talking 1124UT, might have been JJ, didn't seem DU
1008 man talking 1104UT, too murky for language ID

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

567 657 756 882 909 1017 1287 1503

best wishes,

Nick
