Happy "Big Five-Oh" Birthday wishes to one of my closest friends in the DXing hobby and the first DXer I ever met in person, Earl Higgins of St. Louis.  Earl, thank you so much for the opportunity to meet at your apartment in Iowa City in January 1988 -- that initial  encounter was what started the ball rolling on my participation in radio clubs, resulting in the countless friendships I've made with others in the hobby over the years.  May the best of DX be yours for the next 50!  :)
