I met Don twice: (1) NRC Wheeling convention (1953 I think) and (2) at a Sacramento area IRCA convention (1971?). After I moved to Tacoma from SF in 1996, we communicated from time to time on the ever-changing SF radio scene. He was a solid DXer and a fine person and will be missed.
