Low band big guns were at reasonable strength after 1400UT, and not much had
changed after 1500UT, but sticking around paid a dividend or two, as things
popped into life just before 1510UT to be crushed pretty much by the local noise
popping into life at 1520UT. Perhaps things were starting to fade anyway.
except that JOUB banged in with its biggest signal at 1524UT for a short time.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
774 JOUB woman in JJ, then another in EE "OK...and then?"
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in JJ 1424UT
828 JOBB EE lessons 1419UT //774, 747. This was generally the strongest NHK2
this morning
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1512UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
279 R. Rossii man in RR 1420UT
558 HLQH. Monster carrier at 1513UT, but only managed this level of readability
in the 550(!) splash
603 HLSA slow vocal mx //558 1511UT
747 JOIB man in JJ at 1419UT //828
1287 JOHR man in JJ 1509UT
1431 UnID. man talking, weak in 1430 splash, but faded up to this level at
1517UT as instrumental mx started
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
567 JOIK man in JJ //594 1508UT
639 CNR1 man talking, then woman, //6125 at 1507UT
891 JOHK man in JJ //594 1508UT
1557 Taiwan? woman talking 1519UT
1602 NHK2 synchros. woman talking //828 1517UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
756 864 918 1323 1332 1503 1575
best wishes,
Nick
