Not so good today, and not assisted by the high and unrelenting level
of splash along with the local noise sources starting early
(obviously Sunday is not a day of rest for them). Listened from 1420
to 1440UT and 1455UT onwards; most of the stronger signals were in
the earlier session, so not much of a sunrise enhancement here today.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
no..
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK as above, but //567!
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
279 R. Rossii woman in RR followed by light instrumental mx, weak but
clear 1457
828 JOBB EE language lessons //774 and 747 at similar strengths at times 1436UT
972 HLCA woman in KK 1437UT
1323 CRI man in RR then into vocal mx at 1422UT //9450
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1520UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
567 JOIK man in JJ //594
603 big carrier, slow mx 1457UT, no sign of audio on the hour
639 CNR1 woman talking, echoey, so at least two signals, //6125 1519UT
1287 JOHR? instrumental mx after woman talking 1513UT
1476 unID slow instrumental mx 1430 1454 1515UT
1575 VoA? man talking 1437UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by
splatter) (several of these with near imaginary audio; given the
imaginary aspect, didn't report as audio, hi):
756 1143 1179 1242 1314 1359 1422 1539 1548 1602
best wishes,
Nick
