[IRCA] TP 9 Feb; Victoria version

An interesting morning, mostly concentrated between 1505 and 1515UT, 
with the lower part of the band and NHK1 shining, just a bit.   No 
s/off on NHK2 at 1540UT, still weak chat on 747, 774 and even 
snippets on 828 at 1544UT.  The real kicker was 747 fading up with a 
woman talking slowly at 1635UT, but no idea who this was, as no 
possible // on 774 at the time.



pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK man in JJ //594 at 1501UT
594 JOAK as above, but //567!
774 JOUB man in JJ fading up briefly in JJ //747 1503UT
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1522UT, most others gone by now, though weak 
747//774 held in for awhile longer. in fact, much longer, (see introduction)



not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

558 HLQH  slow vocal mx at 1504UT //603, moments later woman talking 
faded up underneath, JJ cadence, so possibly JOCR
747 JOIB pan pipe mx leading to pips on hour 1500UT.  Only the 
regulars audible before 1500UT, but soon got more interesting.
1287 JOHR two men in JJ at 1510UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

531 JOQG  man in JJ faded up briefly 1502UT //594.   Rare visitor here
585 JOPG man JJ //594 at 1503UT.  Also not very common.
603 JOOG/JOKK man in JJ //594 fading up over HLSA at 1508UT; haven't 
heard in years
603 HLSA slow vocal mx //603 1506UT
612 JOLK another NHK1, woman in JJ //594 at 1512UT
828 JOBB man in JJ //774 1504UT
972 HLCA? man talking, possibly this 1512UT
1323 CRI? woman talking RR inflection, 1507UT, maybe two stations by 1513UT?
1503 JOUK woman in JJ //594 1514UT
1593 JOTB/JOQB  JJ talk by man //774 1516UT



Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
