Hello To All,

Newfoundland is now looking very snowy compared to New Year's Day when it was literally bare ground. Hit hard yesterday with a nasty storm and a ton of snow, two of the AM stations in St. John's have been off air . 800 VOWR and 1210 VOAR remain off air this morning still.

DX wise I was able to catch a few new ones due to their absence from the frequency.

800 - CJAD - Montreal, Quebec  23:57 UTC  Jan 11  TSX Stock exchange news, other news, Montreal event promo, Legal ID  *** NEW ***   on Ultralight  (Heard  this morning as well)

800 - NETHERLANDS ANTILLES - Trans World Radio Bonaire  ( Heard later last night)

800 - VENEZUELA - YVTB Maracaibo  11:53 UTC  Jan 12  Latin pop music , man in Spanish , many mentions of Venezuela ( heard mixing with CJAD this morning)   *** NEW *** also on Ultralight 

801 - ENGLAND - BBC Devon, Barnstaple  19:33 UTC  Jan 11  weather, BBC web address, BBC Radio  Devon ID  *** NEW *** also on Ultralight 

801 - SPAIN - Radio Nacional, various  19:44 UTC  Jan 11  Spanish talk, R. Nacional ID  (mixing with BBC Devon ) *** NEW ***  also on Ultralight 

1210 - WPHT - Philadelphia, PA  (Heard off and on last night and this morning as well) 

1210 - Unidentified   10:24 UTC  Jan 12  Spanish music & talk
