Listened from 1419-1625 utc.  A nice morning with 2 tentative Chinese stations heard along with two regular Chinese stations. Dawn enhancement sure helped signals this morning. VOA 1575 still being heard at 1624 will weak fading signal. December of 2012 has been far better than December of 2011 here in Kalama, WA.  Did not listen on this date last year.  

153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1419-1421 very weak  signal with man in Russian. NW ewe. 12/27/2012

189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1423. good signal with music. Radio Rossii ID at 1424. NW ewe. 12/27/2012

279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1424  good  signal with  man in Russian. NW ewe. 12/272012


567    JAPAN, Sapporo, JOIK NHK1 1446-1451 weak signal with woman in Japanese and music. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1426 very weak signal with man in Japanese. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


639    CHINA, Beijing, 1552 weak signal with man in Chinese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1454 fair signal on second scan of band with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK 2 1428 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1116    CHINA, Shaowu, CNR5 1429-1433 assuming the station with woman in Chinese? In & out weak signal. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1287   JAPAN, Sapporo, JOHR HBC 1436 very weak signal with moderate splatter. Man in Japanese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1314   UNKNOWN, 1438-1440 brief very weak audio, signal faded out. JOUF Osaka? NW ewe. 12/27/2012

1422   JAPAN, Yokohama, JORF RF, RF Radio Nippon 1558 weak signal with woman in Japanese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1476   CHINA? 1557 very to weak signal at times with music. NW ewe. 12/27/2012

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1443 weak signal with woman in Japanese. Followed by woman singing. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1444 weak signal with man in Chinese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1548 good signal with woman in Asian language. Weaker station underneath. Still around with good signal from 1600-1604 with Voice of America Washington ID at 1604. NW ewe. 12/27/2012


1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1550 fair signal with man in Chinese. NW ewe. 12/27/2012
