Listened this morning from 1401-1600 utc. Sunrise really helped the upper channel stations this morning. HLAZ 1566 had a good signal just before 1600 utc. Last year to date receptions, long wave stations were better in 2011 and MW this year was much better than 12/20/2011. Last years receptions listed on bottom of page. Current rain storm has  melted all the snow.  Snow storm toppled the mast for the HPAW.  It's back up, but around 5 feet shorter. 

153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1401-1405 good signal with woman and man in Russian NW ewe. 12/20/2012


209    ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 1415 weak signal with weather forecast. HPAW. 12/20/2012

   JAPAN, Kobe, JOCR Radio Kansai, CRK 1547 assuming the station with very weak in and out signal. NW ewe. 12/20/2012

567    JAPAN, Sapporo, JOIK NHK1 1416 poor signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/20/2012.


594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1418 very weak signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/20/2012


639    CHINA, Beijing, 1538 weak signal with woman and man in Chinese. NW ewe. 12/20/2012


657    DPR OF KOREA, Pyongyang, 1536 weak signal with woman singing in Korean. // 3250. NW 12/20/2012 


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1419 very weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 12/20/2012


972    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Dangjin, HLCA  KBS 1528 fair signal with woman singing.  NW ewe. 12/20/2012


1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1532-1533 weak signal with man in Japanese. 1557 still around with very weak signal. NW ewe. 12/20/2012


1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1429 fair signal with woman singing. NW ewe. Good signal with piano music at 1556. 12/20/2012


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1530 very weak signal with man in Asian language. NW ewe. Fair at 1555. 12/20/2012


1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1555 poor signal with man in Chinese. Heavy KOHI splatter. NW ewe. 12/20/2012
