Not a stellar morning here, and what enhancement there was, was at the top of
the band, and after 1530UT, when my local noise had kicked in. Was checking the
band from 1400UT, with little to show for it. On top of that, even after
1530UT, splatter seemed more obnoxious this morning.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1566 HLAZ instrumental mx 1536UT; quite a bit poorer earlier
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
1566 passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
1287 pop mx in splatter, 1531UT
1422 woman talking in splatter, no clue as to language.
1503 woman talking 1431UT, and signal was on and off to past 1530UT. Good
carrier, poor audio.
1557 slow vocal mx 1518UT
1575 man talking 1536UT
1593 woman talking //6125, so CNR-1 at 1535UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
774 1278 1323 1359 1458 (multiple carriers)
best wishes,
Nick
