I guess you're a little south of whatever dense blanket was cutting
off the Asiatic signals this morning in Victoria, Dennis. Hardly
even a carrier on 1566 here at 1540UT, and nothing at all here when
you were hearing them. I have no idea what the nature of the blanket
might be, as geomagnetic conditions, solar wind, Dst etc. are all
reasonable, if not spectacularly favorable.
I monitored on and off from 1420UT this morning, and the best I could
do was some weak DU sounding talk on 1116 at various times.

woman/man in Asian language. No ID at 1400. Fair signal at
