It was definitely a disappointing morning.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
none
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
HLAZ-1566 man in CC 1508UT; this had been heard fairly consistently
with very poor audio from 1354UT (same time as Bill heard them) onwards.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
1557 light vocal mx 1503UT, woman talking, CC cadence at 1515UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
1422, 1503, 1593 (all of these might have had "near-imaginary"
audio traces from time to time, but splatter buried anything possible
best wishes,
Nick
