A little upper band enhancement this morning, but at least there was
something! There was a brief blip in signal strength before 1420UT,
then a longer and more productive period after 1500UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
1566 HLAZ heard somewhat more weakly w/man in CC at 1417, but was
back at better strength, 1500 and 1517UT
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1593 CNR1 man then woman in CC //6125 at 1420UT, back several times
after 1500UT to this level
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
1602 unID classical stringed mx 1516UT, then woman talking as it
faded down. Could have been NHK2, but no parallels to be found
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
1008 woman singing 1459UT, gone by hour
1503 JOUK man talking 1458UT, faded towards hour, but heard NHK pips
through the crud
1575 man talking 1419UT, audio traces after 1500UT also
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
873 1044 1107SAH 1197 1206 off channel, 1278 1494
best wishes,
Nick
