The FM mention that you would've heard should've been 101.3, not 103.3 (since there's an 18 kw station in Indy on 103.3). The other is the mention at 1747 EST of Indiana Public Radio. WBAA isn't listed as an affiliate on IPR's website, and it looks like IPR, judging from their homepage, serves mainly the eastern half of the state, not the western (where Purdue University is located).

Hi Rick:

Thanks for your note on WBAA 920.

You're right...the 103.3 was an obvious TYPO....it is indeed 101.3 and just my fat fingers that hit the wrong key!! The 101.3 is a 14 KW Station WBAA-FM.

As for the Indiana Public Radio mention...that I am sure of!! There were 2 mentions of Indiana Public Radio....one with the Frequency ID at 1744 EST as "Public Radio for Indiana" and the other at 1747 EST as "Indiana Public Radio". That's what they said and that's what I wrote down. The signal was nice and clear and free from interference. Unless the Indiana News Items they were relaying had that ID embedded in the report??? That is always a possibility...but someone "Said those words.....clear as a bell".

Wish I had it recorded.....but I don't have a Recorder on the Ultralight Radio.

So..I don't know what to tell you..I just log 'em as I hear 'em, and take notes as I'm doing so.

Regards......ROB VA3SW
