[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Saturday, November 10, 2012

It was another good morning here in Kalama, WA, but not as good as yesterday morning. The exception was the upper channels this morning improved dramatically.  A new Japanese station on 1593 heard.  JOBQ over and under CRN1.   Checking Japanese NHK 1 stations on channels 675 & 702  I found that JOVK 675 & JOKD 702 are located on the Northern Island of Hokkaido.  The other two stations listed on 675 & 702 are located in Southern Japan.  The Hokkaido stations being closer to my location, I'm assuming these are the stations that were heard here. Listened from 1334-1554 utc. JOAK 594 very weak at 1554 utc. 



153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1334-1336 excellent signal with man in Russian followed by jazz music. HPAW. 11/10/2012

189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1337 good signal with jazz music. HPAW. 11/10/2012

209    ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 1340 fair signal with weather forecast. HPAW. 11/10/2012 

279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1339 excellent signal with jazz music. HPAW 11/10/2012

558    JAPAN & REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1420-1423 two stations with weak signals. Both talk. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

567    JAPAN, Sapporo, JOIK NHK1 1342 weak signal with man in Japanese talking to another man. // JOAK 594. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012.

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1342 fair signal and // JOIK 567. 1423 Good signal. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

603    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Seoul, HLSA 1424-1431 assuming the station with US Pop song and over China. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

603    CHINA, Hulun Buir RGD 1424-1425 guessing the station with very weak signal under HLSA with instrumental music. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012 

657    DPR OF KOREA, Pyongyang, 1438-1439 weak signal with Classical music. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012 

675    JAPAN, Hakodate JOVK NHK1 1441-1446 assuming the station with in and out very weak signal. Seemed // to JOAK 594.W-Sw ewe. 11/10/2012 

693    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAB NHK2 1348 weak signal with man in Japanese. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

702    JAPAN, Kitami, JOKD NHK2 1450-1453 fair signal at times with some splatter. // JOUB 774. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1350 good signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK 2 1401 fair signal with moderate splatter with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

1287   JAPAN, Sapporo, JOHR HBC 1408 fair signal with moderate splatter with two men in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK2 1516-1517 weak signal with woman in Japanese. // JOAK 594. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, 1418 good signal with man singing religious music. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

1575   THAILAND, Ban Phachi, VOA 1502-1505 good signal with man in Asian language. W-SW ewe. 11/10/2012

1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1506-1507 fair signal at times with man in Chinese. 

1593   JAPAN, Niigata JOBQ NHK2 1506-1515 fighting it out with CRN1. Fair at times // JOUB 774. New station.
