Only one Russian long wave this morning. Asian stations with the exception of a possible reception of "The Breeze" on 891. Powerhouse JOUB 774 had a very good signal at times. Might of heard Taiwan on 738 with weak signal, not sure though. 


153    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1303 steady weak signal with woman in Russian. Last reception here 10/07. HPAW. 10/16/2012

209    ALASKA, Yakataga CYT 1307 weather forecast with weak signal. HPAW. 10/16/2012

576    RUSSIA, 1310 assuming the station with brief poor audio before fading out. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

594    JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1246 weak signal with woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

693    JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1313 fair signal with moderate splatter. Man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

738    TAIWAN? BEL 2 1345-1352 poor to very weak signal at times. Asian language. Never heard before, but the Gary up North receives quite often. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

747    JAPAN, JOIB NHK2 1408 fair signal with heavy splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012.

774    JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1249-1255  weak signal with Radio English Conversation Program. Fair signal 1453. Very good signal at 1412 with Chinese lessons. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

828    JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1356 weak signal with woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

873    JAPAN, JOGB NHK2 1358 weak signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

891    NEW ZEALAND? The Breeze? 1419 weak signal with music. Not 5AN. By the time I got the live stream going signal had faded out. Music was being played on live stream. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

972    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLCA 1316 steady weak signal with moderate KUFO splatter. Woman in Korean. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012


1053   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1256 jammer with fair signal. First time heard since 10/10. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

1008   JAPAN, JONR ABC 1319 weak signal with man in Japanese. Music 1320. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

1287   JAPAN, JOHR HBC 1401 weak signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

1386   JAPAN, JO?? NHK2 1404 fair at times and close to signal strength of // JOUB 774. Amazing for 10 kw of power. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ FEBC 1301 fair signal with man in Japanese. Good signal at 1332. W-SW ewe. 10/16/2012
