Conditions continue to improve here in Kalama, WA. Thanks to the W-SW ewe, TP's signals received had better signals than the NW ewe this morning in most cases. New logging of a NHK1 station on 585.  Assuming JOPG with 10 kw as other NHK1 station have under 1 kw. // to JOAK 594. Have completed the wire antennas transformer switch over to the suggested Steve Ratzlaff over lapping coil method and the FT 75 torrid.  Improvement in signal strength over the FT 43 torrid. Listened from 1205-1432 utc.

567   JAPAN, JOIK NHK1 1324 weak Japanese talk briefly with moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012

585   JAPAN, JOPG NHK1 1403 weak signal in and out with a lot of splatter. Fair at 1408 and // 594. Assuming JOPG with 10 kw as other //'s have under 1 kw. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012

594   JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1325 good signal with woman in Japanese. Slight splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012

603   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1327 bits of audio getting through. Weak at 1227:30 with Korean by man. Moderate splatter from normally quiet channel. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012

639   CHINA, CNR1 1413 weak fading signal with man/woman in Chinese. KFI gone so no splatter. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012

648   RUSSIA, VOR 1414-1415 fair signal with man in Chinese. Heard various strengths on all 4 antennas. Best on NW ewe. 10/04/2012

657   DPR OF KOREA, 1417-1418 very weak to weak signal with man in Korean. Heavy domestic splatter. // 3250. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012

702   JAPAN, JOFB OR JOKD NHK2 // 774 with Chinese lessons? Fair signal at times with moderate splatter. NW ewe. 10/04/2012

738   TAHITI, Radio Polynesie 1350-1353 assuming the station with music and talk with weak signal. Heavy splatter. Not 2NR as they had talk on live stream. W-SW ewe. 10/04/2012
