Neil and Tim,
747-4QS is part of the Australian "LR" network, and parallel to the "big gun" 774-3LO, which is easily heard on the west coast when Australian conditions are good. Male-femaile interviews are a staple of the Aussie LR network, such as in this recording of 774-3LO made during an Oregon cliff DXpedition last month

To me, it sounds like you had 4QS. I had a decent carrier there, but
unfortunately it was a couple dB too weak for audio and local WNDZ had their
pre-s/on OC on earlier than normal to hurt it from 750. 73 KAZ
