[IRCA] TP's and DU's for Monday, August 13, 2012

Four Radio Rossii stations received this morning, 153 & 279 with good signals.  A   few MW TP's until 15 minutes before sunrise, then conditions switched to DU's. Tahiti'a signal on 738 was good, but produced no audio.  702 & 891 with weak DU English, but could not ID stations.  Listened from 1210-1310 utc.


153     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1210-1214 good signal with music and talk.
180     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1215 fair signal with Russian talk. 
189     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1216 very weak signal with Woman in Russian. Fair                       signal 1231 will Jazz music.  
279     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1217 fair with pop music. Good signal 1532.  
702     AUSTRALIA,6KP? 1252 weak signal with woman/man with news.  Heavy splatter.
774     JAPAN,  JOUB NHK2 1237 fair signal with heavy splatter. 
738     TAHITI, Radio Polynesie S-9 carrier, but no audio. 
891     AUSTRALIA, 1300 weak signal with woman in English. Faded 1301.  
1503    JAPAN?  JOUK? 1240 brief poor audio then faded.  Best on NW ewe.
1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1243  weak signal with splatter.  Fair 1246 with                     woman in Japanese.  
1575    THAILAND, VOA 1249 very weak signal with man in Asian language.
