Note that maps 1-6 are for VLF, and the MF maps start with figure

I've seen similar maps for Canada. The east side of the Rockies
in Alberta
is supposed to be superb for MW DX, and it has been proposed that this is
due to the excellent ground conductivity. Interesting thread,
