[IRCA] DU's & TP's for Wednesday, August 1, 2012

Listened this morning from 1217-1305 utc.  Only one Russian
long-wave heard.  Regular Tahition 738
was not heard.  Weak audio on 1665 this morning, but could
not made out language.  Music between
announcer talking.  Could tell if music was religious or Greek.
 Listened to yesterdays recording of
audio on 1656 and it sure sounds to me like Chinese, no audio this
morning from 1656.  Strange that 
the lower channel DU's are not producing any audio, but the higher
channel low powered DU's are?

1503    AUSTRALIA? Level 4 het
1227 SW ewe. Threshold audio at 1252.
1512    Level 4 het 1324 SW ewe.
1548    Level 4 het 1227 SW ewe
1575    Level 5 het 1228 SW ewe.
1584    Level 4 het 1228 SW ewe.
1593    Level 4 het 1229 SW ewe.
1566    Level 5 het 1224 SW ewe.
1611    Level 5 het 1225 SW ewe.
1656    Level 4 het 1226 SW ewe.
1665    AUSTRALIA, Level 5 het
1226 SW ewe.  1239 very weak audio with man in ? followed by 
                 
 music signal with weak signal.  Splatter at 1242 with song playing.
 Man back at 
                 
 1242 with talk.  1243 not sure if language is English or Greek,
the language
                 
 listed for 2MM.  1248 very weak with man talking. Signal faded but
back at
                 
 1251 with music.  Gone by 1300.
1701   AUSTRALIA?  Level 5
het most of the morning.  Maybe threshold audio at 1256, but Mexican
                 
 station on 1700 kHz still with audio.
