The log below is from Willis in Tenn
WXQW was
also heard very well up here near Chicago. I spotted
them around 2230 and recorded them with a Sony Digital
recorder all night. Was too tired to fire up
computer and send off an E-mail notice.
Like Willis it took a while to figure out who they
were. Finally caught a short spot for advertising on
WGOK 900 and a few mentions of Mobile and Gulf
Coast. Sounds like they program in 25 minute
blocks.

It has taken me over an hour and
a half to finally to hear an ID on this
station.
They are, apparently, on day power and pattern. They are
at times
dominating the channel, over WFAN. May be
doing transmitter test as I never
hear them at
night. The format is black gospel.
If you have
never heard them, this is the time to do so.
