[IRCA] DX Tips for WDXR
650 WSM TN Nashville, a station that used to be a regular back in
the 60s & 70s is rarely heard these days. Barely on top of the jumble
with some 50s C&W music, followed by the announcer "WSM" Then some talk
and lost under CISL briefly, then back up with "Here's Kitty Wells on
WSM". at 2305-2310 EDT 2/22. (PM-OR)
740 CFZM ONT, Toronto, still the most common Toronto station mixing
wth CBX & KCBS with Cold Cold Heart by Hank Williams at 2317 EDT 2/22,
"AM-740" slogan ID as usual. "There were 3 in a row" Into "If I Ruled
the World" by Tony Bennett. (PM-OR)
