KBIS and sister KBDB carry a satelitte music service from Jones/Dial
Global/Tritron Media and what you likely heard was a liner between songs or
coming out of a song.

These are pre-recorded and sit on the local stations computer, fired by a
satelitte tone/cue at the network studio in Denver.

When a network jock is sick and someone fills in or a call letter change
happens, the local liners don't always get updated.
