Re: [IRCA] [NRC-AM] WSLM way atop on 1220

Now they've lost their connection to the IU Network entirely.  Noted here at 2001 CLT with the Hues Corporation's "Rock The Boat". Someone heard a minute later mixing with WSLM with the beginning of REL program "Through The Bible" (probably WHKW).  I pity those in southern Indiana who were listening to the game before it cut out, because they're missing a good one -- just  a few minutes ago, the Hoosiers were up by 9, and now Sparty's come back to take a 1-point lead.

Absolutely pinning the meter here, and having audio problems (in and out, like somebody keeps tripping over the cord, not like fading). WLPO and Cleveland occasionally fading in, but Salem is absolutely blasting in when they are not having audio dropouts (approximately 50% of the time).

Can these clowns do anything right?

Sincerely,

To any DXers that still need them (and there shouldn't be many left now), WSLM is on day power, and blowing away everything else on 1220 at this QTH.  Heard here at 1934 CLT with Indiana University BKB (play-by-play voice is Don Fischer, who has seemingly been broadcasing Hoosier basketball since the game was invented) vs. the Michigan State Spartans.  If memory serves me right, you can hear the Michigan State side of things on 1660 out of Kalamazoo.
