Re: [IRCA] TP's for Wednesday 12/14/11 (big improvement) and Dec 15th

OK, sorry for the delay, but work related activities has tied me up. I
quickly looked back at my Perseus wav files from 15:52 to just past the
TOH. By 16:00 things were fading down again. The upper band was very good
earlier, though! SF 133, A3, K (12:00) 0. No space weather reported. I
started listening at 14:45 and then again a few minutes before 16:00. As
always, a "6" unless otherwise noted. Most reception was all towards 16:00:

1098 (OC), 1242, 1287, 1359 (6+ late....definitely CNR1)
1422: 7 level
1458: 6+ with lots of splatter
1494: 6+
1557: 8 level WYFR plus ? a cochannel
1566: booming in at 9+ level at 15:51 HLAZ
1575: 8 level VOA at 15:51
1593: 7 to 7.5 CNR1
1602

That was it for the 14th. This morning was also down somewhat, but I again
had little time to monitor. What was different were the lower band JJ
stations coming in relatively well. I suspect that Nick had better
reception than I did, looking at his DX Fishbarrel. 774, and 828 were both
at 7 to 8 level. The upper band was down a bit compared to yesterday. All
this around 14:30 to 14:45 UTC. 73, Walt
