Good catch. TIS stations are really fun to hear. It is amazing how many
get out well. Most are 10 watts or less. I have heard them coast to
coast on clear frequencies at times. One many DXers were hearing back in
the 90s before the X Band filled up was JFK Airport NY on 1700, 10
watts.   I also caught two from VA on 1620, MI on 1630, As well as IL on
1630. It was wonderful the few years the X Band was alive with low power
stations.
