Re: [IRCA] Alberta TPs for 28 Sep 2011

Hi Nigel,
I checked 1152 kHz via Melbourne remote rx, and I got the fq for 2WG Wagga Wagga as 1151.996 kHz. I have earlier noted ABC NewsRadio, Busselton to be on 1151.997 kHz, via Sril Lanka rx. The second strongest carrier in Melbourne was on 1151.999 kHz, maybe New Zealand. I understand that Manjimup isn't on 1152 kHz any more. I didn't se anything on 40 Hz high, checked also via Hong Kong and Japan.

DU audio on 1548 prevented a complete shutout today, so not quite as bad as yesterday, but that's not saying much. All the carriers appeared to be of Du origin, with 891 being the next strongest. With the lack of audio, I was left checking out carriers, and I was a bit intrigued by the two carriers on 1152, one more or less on freq, and the other about 40 Hz high. Nothing corresponding on the MW offset list, but DU signals aren't well represented on that list.
