High school football on August TWELFTH???  Good grief.  The last week of August, I can understand, but the 12th is way too early for ANY high school to be starting the football season, and as hot as it's been in the South in recent weeks, it especially seems senseless.

WVLZ-1180 Knoxville TN starting 4th quarter at 8:40 p.m. of HS football game.  Teams are Alcoa Tornadoes and Heritage Mountaineers.  Daytime only station with maximum power of 10kw (they may or not be using all of it; too close here to be sure) and an August sign-off time of 8:30.
