[IRCA] New Station
Last night while listening to Bill Wattenburg on KGO 810 there was a lot of splatter from some unknown station on 800 kHz. Our local station on 800 KDPQ was mixing with an unknown station with Pop music. Checking 820 I got an ID from WBAP Fort Worth, Texas. Their signal was fair and the first time I have heard them at this location, time was 11:00 PM PDT. I QSL WBAP for the San Francisco Bay Area back in the late 60's. It was strange hearing splatter on KGO with their strong signal. Radio was a Palstar R-30 cc connected to the High Performance Active Whip.
Best regards,
