Craig, I have made a lot of on line queries about the MW performance on
mobile HF rigs. Other than the 703+,  the only positive report
that I received was for the yaesu FT-897. I might go to Lentini Comm. in CT
and see if they have any set up so I can try them out in person, if I do I
