Patrick, I know you like to cut extraneous preceding text, which is actually 
somewhat welcome. But this was a multi-faceted thread, and by cutting 
everything you stripped your message of all context. Why not add a line or 
two of context, indicating what you're responding to. For instance, who does 
"your" refer to. Me? Paul? Les? ...
