I just bought its little brother, the H2, which I intend to use mostly for recording interviews & feature material for air--really nice sound, full 16 bit/44.1 kHz .wav recording. But as I had hoped, it's recording to the line-level input also works great.  Typical street price is $149, which is what I paid at Best Buy.
