I can say alotta stations aren't monitored or checked overnights or
weekends. But I can say that where I work, we constantly monitor our
station... especially when we know someone isn't around the station, we make
it to check at least once an hour to make sure we're on the air and we've
got audio. We even check late/overnights and weekends too.
On the rare occassion we have gone dead air or had other audio/transmission
problems, once we get to rectifying it, checking event logs. .we can see
it's never persisted for more then 5 minutes.
