[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-5

Hello All,

It was another underwhelming performance by a team of TP's slow to get in
gear for the Fall Season. If this was the NFL, all except for HLAZ and the
Jammer would be canned, due to poor performance in this "preseason." Derek,
I hope you don't tell me that they were all S9 this morning :-)

The following were heard on a C.Crane SWP Slider model (7.5" loopstick)
inductively coupled to a 7.5' sided PVC tuned passive loop:

594 JOAK Tokyo, Japan Fair Japanese audio in and out around 1305; faded
quick
657 Pyongyang N.Korea The shouted tirades had trouble getting out of
the noise around 1307
666 JOBK Osaka, Japan Best of the low-band Japanese on this mediocre
morning; fair at 1303
972 HLCA Dangjin, S. Korea Mediocre again with Korean at 1309; nowhere
near Derek's level
1053 Korean Jammer Good signal at 1312; almost certain of a power
increase for this station
1134 JOQR Tokyo, Japan Excited Japanese audio around 1329, but the
signal level wasn't too
                      much to get excited about

1566 HLAZ Jeju, S. Korea Fair Japanese sermon at 1131

It's very interesting how Steve and Nigel seem to live in a "parallel
universe," receiving DU's while the coastal dwellers get TP's. None of those
DU's reported by Steve or Nigel ever produce a trace here in Puyallup. Some of
them were common in Lincoln City, Oregon two weeks ago, though.

73 and Good DX,
Gary DeBock
