After the barbeque evening - thanks, Jim and Robin! - I managed KYMN with 
twins baseball (including an ID and reference to the Twins network,. so it's 
them for sure), oldies that would likely be WOAP, Black Gospel music that 
could be Coral Gables FL or Virginia (David Braun reported WKBY VA, a 
daytimer, signing on at 0000. I also had a Spanish station or two in there, 
and a talker that may have been KY.

I checked 1710 during a bandscan and wasn't even thinking of WNRC. But I did 
have nice clear samples of the Spanish NYC-area and Massachussetts Haitian 
pirates.

Cuba and one or two others on 690. didn't stay there long, opted for sleep.

This using a modified loopsticked Tecsun  380, which is now my defacto 
travel AM radio, quite aside from the armchair and bedside radio it'll be at 
Burnt River ON this fall.

Ivanka and I had a lovely time and some wonderful conversations at the BBQ 
Friday before going our own way to continue on an unfortunately brief 
holiday. I'm really glad we were able to swing down to Rochester and make 
WTFDA-NRC part of our trip. Nice to see old friends, meet others with whom 
I've only corresponded by e-mail, read loggings in bulletins or never 
previously encountered at all. Thank you to all who made it happen.
