When I lived in northern New Jersey the predominant night station on 1540
was WPTR in early evenings and KXEL later.  For the most part I was able to
null out either WPTR or KXEL to a great extent.  Here in Brookneal Virginia
KXEL isn't a frequent visitor.  I hear CHIN for the most part with
occasional visits from ZNS in the Bahamas.
