Re: [IRCA] SW EWE

Don't be too hard on the cow(s) Pat. She's just flossing her teeth.

I turned on the R8 this morning only to find the null/lobe situation on
the SW EWE was messed up. I went out to check and some cow had fun with
the termination end. Besides knocking it lose, she had pulled the havy
wiremesh from the tree that was nailed on in several places and even
pulled the wire off the ground rods and the wire pulled up with the wire
mesh connected and wire coming across the field came down and landed on
the electric fencing. At least the weight of the control, wire mesh and
all kept the antenna from dropping off the branch, so at least I did not
need to climb the tree this time. I reached up and pulled the
control/wiremesh down and reconnected everything back up and renailed
the mesh to the bottom of the tree trunk. I reset the control and things
are back to working fine. No matter what I put over to protect the
control, the cows seem to get a hold of it. I will have to rethink how
to solve the issue, but it is a bit different living out in the country.
