Re: [IRCA] KTRP 1130 kHz 50 kw days

The difference between 25KW and 50KW coverage wise and signal strength wise
isn't that much actually.. and they beam NE... so I don't see why they
wouldn't get it.

And Technically, they already signed on in the eyes of the FCC since their
Program Test Authroity and License to Cover were issued. KTRP shows as
licensed, not as a Permit. They've requested a 6 month special temporary
authority to be silent .

***THE STATION IS NOT READY TO COMMENCE OPERATIONS YET, LACKING CERTAIN
STAFF AND PROGRAM SOURCES. IN ADDITION, THE PERMANENT STUDIO FACILITY FOR
THE STATION IS NOT YET COMPLETED. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE STATION WILL BE
READY TO COMMENCE REGULAR OPERATIONS WITHIN SIX MONTHS. THEREFORE, SPECIAL
TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO REMAIN SILENT FOR SIX MONTHS IS REQUESTED. ***
