[IRCA] Central New York AM station increases daytime power...dx test coming soon

Today (3/11/2010) the FCC granted a daytime power increase to WFNY - AM 
1440 Gloversville NY. Daytime power was 3600 watts non-directional, it is now 
5000 watts non-directional daytime. nighttime is still 500 watts directional.

A DX test on a Saturday night/Sunday morning is in the works within the 
next one to two months.
Meanwhile, keep a listen to 1440 around sunrise and sunset. Music format is 
a variety but mostly 60's, 70's and 80's music. IRN/USA radio news at the 
top of the hour and IRN/USA sports at quarter til the hour, every hour.
