Bill,

Even with doubling their power from 500W to 1 KW the difference in their
range and what you'd notice wouldnt be all that great at all. They'd have to
triple-quadroople their power before you'd notice a HUGE change.

I can't say why they haven't gone to 1KW, but I can imagine they are limited
by CKWX 1130 and KPTK 1090... if they would have to put up an additional
tower, it probably isn't worth it as Return on investment would be very low
